The body is medicine's centre of attention and we should think about the body and from the body as a whole, and formulate a reflection that enables us to show the human facts and values linked with this very corporeality. Medical humanities develop this knowledge and warn about problems in the relationship between the doctor and the patient, about missed communications, about values that deteriorate and are lost. How can a philosophy of the body help us to overcome these problems?
