The traces of power: viewed from archaeology and anthropology
With the development of the economic practices inherent to Neolithic rural societies, we can begin to define a range of traditional craft production. One of the consequences of this growing technical specialisation was the emergence of agents who maintained control over certain resources and technical innovations, which then became the object of power for the emerging elites.
