Landscapes of cultural diversity

As it has been a laboratory for cultural diversity throughout its history until the present, the United States invites us to reflect on the creative force of an incessant interculturality that is comprised of porous identity borders, the hybridisation of cultural styles and the ethnic as a factor of added value. The speaker will also examine the country's transcultural potential in the way it exports innovations that continue to influence the shaping of technology, society and design art, ranging from jeans to film scripts and the techno-social networks, to mention just a few.
