Communication, dialogue, conversation. There seems to be no doubt as to the need and utility of the knowledge and skills linked with this tool. However, are doctors well trained enough to communicate, transmit knowledge, educate, and to give bad news? Does time represent a problem for achieving good communication? How can new technologies be integrated into everyday practice without damaging the doctor-patient relationship or dialogue?
