We cannot speak about Ca l’Arnús without mentioning Can Solei, and vice versa. Can Solei originated from an old agricultural estate that was mentioned in the Barberà archive in a document from 1565. It was not until 1859 that Evarist Arnús y de Ferrer acquired part of the old mas Solei estate, following the tradition among 19th-century wealthy families.
This park is now a unique space in the city of Barcelona owing to the beauty of its gardens; visitors can enjoy leafy vegetation, a number of different winding routes and paths, statues, an arbour, grottoes, a waterfall and a lake, as well as three buildings linked with the garden: the little castle by the lake, the water tower and the clock tower.
