Forms, musical poems

Exhibitions and music-poetic recitals held during October 2006 at the Residence for Researchers CSIC-Generalitat de Catalunya.

The Residence for Researchers CSIC-Generalitat de Catalunya’s main task is to promote scientific culture and to be a point of encounter to encourage a dialogue between Science and Culture, in all its forms and manifestations.

Personally involved with the creators’ objectives —look and see, listen and understand, dialogue and enrich—, the violoncellist, composer, musicologist and sculptor Miquel Pujol, through his proposal "Forms, musical poems", matched immediately with the Residence for Researchers permanent interest in favouring knowledge expansion and encourage creative reflection.
 
Master Pujol creates an innovative dialogue between poetry and music which converts the art pieces of Concha Ibánez, Josep M. Subirachs, Amêlia Riera, Josep Guinovart, Montserrat Farré, Elvira Fustero, Clemente Ochoa and Montserrat Gudiol into real musical poems.

The Residence for Researchers sponsored  Miquel Pujol’s exhibition —which counted with the presence of Carles Duarte reading poems and Pepe Hevia performing— so his work, which is present in museums all over the world and in private collections, may promote and encourage everybody to go further into a sounder and innovative creativity.
